The conspiracy theorists could say Vergini, Borini and Alonso have all agreed to sign but as they know all about the club and playing style (and thus no urgency to link up with their team mates), they will sign closer to the season start in order to save Sunderland loads of wonga in salaries...............

Why?

Every transfer window people say "we need to pull the plug" etc whenever there is a report that a fee has been agreed and the player doesn't sign within a day.

Why should we "pull the plug"? Why not let him make his own decision in his own time?

Are people that scared of rejection that they would rather terminate the deal than face him choosing a different option of his own accord?
 
I can't help but think Borini outgrew us whilst he was here.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if he signs for us. Even more so after experiencing disney land and tootsie rolls in America.

Too many specific subjects merged which means many valid points and good posts are diluted by pages of utter drivel. Nobody in their right mind would trawl through all this f**king garbage.

No doubt this thread will get merged and add to the confusion. It shouldn't though, it's related to one subject.
I think this tour has bought him a few days.
