Liverpool are confident that Fabio Borini's move to Sunderland will be completed later this week.

Hey fellas! Long time reader first time poster. Big sunderland fan in chicago anyways when liverpool comes to chicago on Saturday I will make sure to let him know it's time to come home! I doubt it does anything at all but it can't hurt right! Love all the posts love the passion thanks for making this my favorite board on the internet.

Make a big banner and wave it around aswell!!

Doesn't score enough goals anyway unless you count penalties.
Which of course you do. Oh and the quantity might not be there but consider this. He rarely played as a striker. Consider this also, the importance of the goals he did score made him our best player imo. Scum home and away. Chelsea in the cup, Man U in the cup. Chelsea away. West Brom at home. City in the final (admittedly we ultimately lost but still a big goal in the biggest of games)

Not arsed either way about the deal. A few pens in there like mate.

I want him to join us and I can understand why he is waiting for the 'bigger' club but he is not good enough for the BIG clubs and too expensive for the those that are not so big. - if that makes sense!

Weighing things up it looks like he's playing for time. I personally think his agent will be very busy at the moment. Either way, this hiccup could set the deal off on a slightly sour note even if it does go ahead. It shows a slight hesitation and we can't afford that with the commitment we'll be making.

It's very disappointing but if this deal doesn't procede to virtual completion in a day or two we need to pull the plug.
