Borini

Let's be honest here, it's clearly not a very good move for us.

Not saying it won't happen as it obviously could, maybe borini is making us sweat in order to get a bit extra money.

Doesn't look great atm though

It's not exactly out of the ordinary either though. Lots of players travel who don't expect to stay with their current club. There's even another example in that Liverpool squad.

People need to calm down and let it play out.

And some cheeky bastard's tampered with me thread title.

I can't ever recall you posting a positive comment regarding SAFC (or anything else for that matter).

Why that might that be I have no idea but (if you have) please link to the thread.
Absolutely loads ya daft shite.

Can't be arsed.

OP's had a fckin mare here mind

Absolute flanny
Been stitched up!

Of course, it's just strange IMO. Last report was that he was meeting poyet an poyet needed to convince him it was the right move.

Gus said there were players yesterday who were playing for us who he's told can leave so other than the fact Liverpool are in America, there's no difference.

He's not coming.

I'd rather we knew now than this panning out and us throwing all our eggs in one basket like a bunch of idiots.

But prior to that the reports were that Borini wanted the move. Maybe he has changed his mind......or maybe he doesn't need much convincing at all and is just letting his agent get him the best deal possible.

What do you mean won't allow us to talk to him? They haven't locked him in a basement....

Talks are usually with agents until the final stages anyway. Doesn't seem far fetched they'd expect him to honor his duties as a LFC player until the point it's almost certain he is leaving.

Not sure how they'd contact him in the meantime though, hopefully the club homing pigeon knows its way around Boston.
They've accepted the fee. They want him gone.

Something in this..

Disappointing but at least it appears we have a decent amount of money to spend.

with fees agreed...??.....never heard of any..
still there could be things to tie up as Poyet said...then the agent could sort the deal...

He's with the squad because he's still their player!

Fee agreed late Friday, then both clubs had games yesterday.

Today's Sunday, and go back through history and look for how many deals were completed on a weekend. It won't be a very high percentage!

I'm sure talks with the agent will be scheduled for this week so in the meantime he has to carry on as normal. That's why agents are employed by players.

I'm sure some people think it's like a computer game and you click a few buttons then that's it.
