People are f***ing backward, could have had McCormack for 3 mil less (sarcasm) we've agreed a fee for a young hungry player with ability and potential we haven't seen in ages.

I bet if we waited until near the end of the window he'd have gone for about £6m. Just wouldn't make economical sense for Liverpool having a bloke on £50k a week or whatever sat on his arse doing nothing for a season

Although maybe there was interest from other clubs and better to be safe than risk someone else nipping in, I suppose
