We will make a profit on him.

However, that isn't what this story is going to be all about, the ones who cried that we didn't or wouldn't spend are now going to cry that we have spent too much and expect him to score 2 every game.

I honestly hope it is as high as £14 million just to shut the fuckers up on here who for the last two weeks have shouted off to every fucker who would listen that we have no cash

He really isn't that good. The way some go on about him on here is f***ing weird.

to be fair, in the cut and thrust nature of premier league football, Borini has a massive affiliation with the fans

only player to score in a cup final since porterfield, he's part of our history

It will be used as a reason for our failure to secure the 15 signings that biggie thinks we need.
If only we were signing him from Montpellier..

he'll remember the noise the crowd made when he scored in the Cup and against the Mags x 2.........it will have been enough to make him do a little sex wee with delight I'm sure, he looked happy here, he looked like he wanted to play for Sunderland - come home Fabio :p

Upto 14 million, if we get to that much he'll have done really well for us

haway borini, come back fella

I have no doubt it will be £10m plus add ons like. Can't see us paying £14m straight up.

He will be played out wide too and not through the middle.

Haway borini lad, sign that 5 year contract.

One of my favourite ever players. Works his bollocks off, is full of confidence and is actually good as well. Would be delighted if we can pull this off.

Ran himself into the ground last season and gave us some great moments that will live forever, penalty at Chelsea, goal v mags at home, celebration at mags away and the goal at Wembley. He would be an outstanding signing for us.

Aye, dont get me wrong I like him and would like to see him back here, certainly improve us. But I think his derby goals and the Final one have clouded a lot of peoples judgement on him.

He isn't worth double figures.

Only scored 7 goals last year in the league, and from memory I think at least 3 of them were penalties.

£14M for a career 1-in-3 striker. Baffling with all our other needs.
Do you think that our other business will be affected by this? I don't. Gus will know what he wants, he would have been given the kitty to do it. He's picked up 3 players for nowt already and he would have budgeted for Borini being that expensive. He may pay a couple of million more than expected, but he saved a couple of million on the 3 players signed.
