Glorious day today, be tough work bowling too many overs in this.

Littletown 1sts come to Wearmouth looking to consolidate their place at the top of the league.

Wearmouth 2nds go to Kimblesworth (I think, always get Kim and Kib mixed up) to try and consolidate their place at the top of the league.

Houghton lads, what happened with Lee last night? Reads like he couldn't move out the way at the non-strikers end?
 

Think I might take the boy down to Whitburn vs Durham Cricket Academy for a bit today. He seemed to enjoy Durham vs Yorks last night.

Had a friendly charity match lee was at non strikers end and took one on the head that was smashed straight back at him. Looked nasty and sounded worse. Luckily he was ok, big bump on his head, but he got checked out and I think everything's fine.
It was hit that hard it still went for four like

Both, with a large amount of cracking fielding. Even the one catch that didn't appear to carry from where I was.

Yeah, I turned out for the firsts. Late call up. Bowled first ball to the amusement of your skipper.

But you were better in all departments and were deserved winners. Different story IF we'd getting Dan and/or Greg early as no-one else seemed comfortable tbh. A bit like our batting order from 5 down then!

Not really, haven't bowled a ball in about a month because 3rds haven't had a game. they were just very desperate to be honest. Must be if they're getting me to play.

I've not said that? Clearly putting words into my mouth. The angle I was at - directly behind the fielder going forward - and what seemed to be a slight fumble made it appear it didn't carry.

And nothing like being magnanimous in victory there...

Where have I been "shitting on about you". I've always held the claim and belief you're a good first team and deserve to be where you are...
