Shame he didn't do it more often today. Instead I had to endure the clueless southerner and the biased inbred Yorkie twat the majority of the time.

I think the commentaries that the BBC are putting on are a great effort, but i have to say i think Marty is one of the weaker ones, sometimes i think he is doing the breakfast show on radio newcastle rather than just talking about the match, far to much trivia about things not related to the match. The best commentators are the guys from Somerset and Lancs.

i think marty is great value. he seems by far the most knowledgable of the majority [can't recall the somerset or lancs guys specifically] and i think he strikes it just right between match description, cricket talk and random stuff along with insight into the team on an informtaion and personal level,

I remember the Somerset chap but I do think Marty does a cracking job and fair play to the BBC for their coverage of county cricket
