Training routines

Does anyone think it would be beneficial to have the players normal Monday to Friday routine be the same as the Match Day routine e.g. peak fitness between 3pm and 5pm.
I was just thinking that their bodies must be used to relaxing and winding down after three from Mon-fri then a totally different regime on Sat or Sun.
Obviously a little bit of tweaking for Sky's diddling with the KO times.
Any fitness experts on here that can corroborate this.

I'm sure it's never before been considered by the legion of sports scientists out there

Jean Tigana used to have Fulham train at 7:45pm when they had a midweek match and from what I remember they were shite.

Make them train all day and all night, then it doesn't matter when the match is they will be prepared for it!

^ Genuis parp yes i know, going off another thread spelling
