Doubt it. There isn't a good enough frontline spinner around. Much more likely they just pick from a pool of six or seven seamers.

Who is this frontline spinner? They seem reluctant to go back to Panesar and there's doubts about where Borthwick would fit in to the batting line up.

Don't know, Panesar if he can get his act together in the next few weeks and take wickets for Essex... Wouldn't surprise me if they went for Tredwell now he seems to be playing regular for Sussex

Steve Harmison was superb on Sky last night talking about it... He was on about the line up being top heavy,constantly trying to get "all round" cricketers who cares if the spinner cant bat/field, he's there to take wickets, pick your best spinner etc

They simply cant go to RB, OT, Oval with Joe Root & Mo Ali as spinners...

It has to be Panesar but I think even if he gets X amount of wickets in the next Y games, Cook and Moores won't even consider going back.
