Did anyone seriously expect anything else? I mean right now we aren't exactly inundated with new signings. We haven't really done anything in the transfer market to shout about. Some player from West Bromwich Albion who sounds like he belongs in the 1970's, a player who sounds like he is a world-class talent but comes from that hotbed of talent Wigan Athletic, and a keeper who can't get a game for Manchester City. In the vein of form we are in when it comes to transfers to read Fabio Borini want's to stay is hardly surprising.
The window opened yesterday you silly sausage.

Aye it's a shame but I hope Lee Congerton has already moved on to other targets. They're back in training soon and any new blood need proper close seasons behind them. Not like last year's nonsense. It'll be hard enough as it to bed in another (yet again!) new team.

You did, an opinion, its made up.
I guess you are technically correct but I find it strange to accuse someone of making something up when all they are offering is their opinion of a situation and obviously not trying to pass anything off as fact.

I'm not saying you are a bad egg, possibly that there were one or two assumptions in your opinion piece which were not necessarily backed up with facts and driven by the banality of the reporting on the Borini 'move'.

I do it every day.

Fair doo's mate, let's just leave it there then?

Nah, di canio, oneill, bruce, keane.....theyve all proclaimed they wanted 'to do business early'

Never happened
Must be a Sunderland tradition, only O'Neill sticks out, the Fletcher saga went on all window.

These two in at Liverpool alongside Sanchez and Suarez out means another two places he's going to drop in the pecking order. Borini might not have the choice to stay at Liverpool

Origi is going straight back to Lille on loan.

Sanchez is signing for Arsenal.
