Onions,Woody and Morley in squad,Ben obviously missing.
Yorkys at full strength except for 3 England call ups-Root,Ballance and Plunkett.
Weather prospects not good at all.

We are certainly randomly plugging through all of our spinners trying to find one who fits.

surprised buckley hasn't had a go this year yet, he seems to be getting plenty of runs for the 2s.

Durham Squad:

Paul Collingwood*
Phil Mustard +
Mark Stoneman
Keaton Jennings
Scott Borthwick
Michael Richardson
Gordon Muchall
John Hastings
Paul Coughlin
Mark Wood
Chris Rushworth
Graham Onions
Max Morley

Great to see both Onions and Woody back, but I just wonder what with the problems we had earlier in the season losing bowlers mid game whether it'll be too much of a gamble starting both of them in the same game. They both played a 3 day game last week, but it's not the same as playing a very strong Yorkshire side at their place.

win this and the title is on again. hopefully the weather relents for enough play

good luck lads

Buckley and Morley more or less went head to head in last week's 2nd XI game- BUCKLEY went wickedness at 5 an over. Morley got 7 wickets and was very economical.

hopefully we won't bat all the way down to 7 this time so the extra bowler will mean less work for everyone. although we're without stokes so i think either way it will be pretty hard work.

Stoneman, Jennings, Borthwick, Richardson/Muchall, Collingwood, Mustard, Hastings, Coughlin, Wood, Rushworth, Onions

Quite seamer heavy.... but all the bowlers can bat so erm... not sure if morley can bat, if so it would be good to get him in there to vary the attack a little more.

So arshad is fit enough for T20 but overlooked for propper Cricket?

At least we should see four frontline seamers in with Hastings batting 8?

Mental how we play 3 spinners in 2xi cricket.

dont think will go from one extreme to another. Its quite possible we might play a spinner, 3 seamers then look to Jennings (who with his height could really be a useful bowler imho) & Collingwood for a few overs.

arshad doesn't really seem head of the pack in 4 day stuff which i find odd given his great numbers so far and great ability with the bat,

i think quite a few of those spinners are really rated as batsmen at 2nd level. pringle bats at 3 and as i said buckley has been scoring alot of runs [unless that is his brother who is also in tehre]

probably right re teh side.

Stoneman, Jennings, Borthwick, Richardson, Muchall, Collingwood, Mustard, Hastings, Coughlin/Wood, Rushworth, Onions

more likely
