Fair enough. I don't like krul one bit but him and van gaal done well last night.Maybe, just think there should have been more enforcement from the officials. I understand your point though.

So one seemingly incorrect guess constitutes a post of unsubstantiated claims and statements? HmmmmmmI also appreciate knowing my stuff and rising about your previous post which was full of unsubstantiated claims and statements.

Nah, way, way above me that lot.
I do however think that the pelantee taking pliers ( Waddle) do their best to score, employ the best methods they can, but Krul saved a couple regardless.
There was a thread a few days ago about penalty taking techniques and body movement in general so some of my waffle might be lost on you.
The players who missed aimed for a spot and went for it regardless of where Krul was going. They should've been trying to slip his centre of gravity.
I'll give credit to Krul in that he sorted out the penalty takers from the none penalty takers. In that sense can do no more than that, he did his job.
The ones who missed used bad technique rather than Krul made great saves. The shots they took weren't terrible but they allowed Krul to have an influence on the outcome. His centre of gravity should've been neutralised first.

Just don't incorrectly guess/assume to try and put me down, whilst attempting to make your post more factual.
We will then be fine and continue to have further discussions/debates. I could also ask for an apology but as I have never met you, I generally couldn't give a fuck.
best off ignored mate.
Replying to him just encourages him and he will now appear after you on every thread if he feels you are ''rattled'' by him.
He has a problem with Sunderland supporters as a group. Not too sure who would be that way inclined but I reckon I could guess.
By guessing you hadn't played put you down? Really?Just don't incorrectly guess/assume to try and put me down, whilst attempting to make your post more factual.

It also wasn't done to make my post appear more factual. Anybody who has played would know that the sort of stuff I mentioned goes on on a regular basis. You having played to a good level and being au fait with the nuances of psychology in sport will be fully aware of this though.![]()
Hopefully he can see my reasons behind my post. The initial post made by him was attempting to make me look inferior and him superior however, it turns out he was completely wide of the mark, both on footballing experience and professional knowledge on the subject.
They just looked like good saves to me.
So you were aware yet still condemned it? Rather odd.Yes, yes I would.

That's because he was allowed to have an influence. They had already picked their spots and went for them. They should've been watching Krul's centre of gravity and simply aimed to beat it.
Krul took advantage of their committing themselves first. First golden rule of attack, take what your given!!
Watch a couple of the dutch penalties. They were tucked away just off centre with Krul sprawled either side. That's because they let him commit himself first then simply adjusted.

Once the ball is spotted and Krul is stood on his line it shouldn't matter though if the lad is mentally strong enough. If he isn't then Krul did exactly the right thing. Really is much ado about nothing in my opinion. Only reason it's stirred the debate it has is because of who Krul plays for.No its not. I still think it was over the line in terms of Gamesmanship and would have expected the officials to make sure the keeper stayed on his line etc. I appreciate the will to win and the internal/intrinsic desires/drive of Krul however, still think it was boarding on hostile and the pen taker couldn't really ignore it.
