Amazingly I would have been yes.Your captaining what exactly? A cricket team?
Who can't get a team out on a Sunday so calls the game off on a Wednesday FFS!![]()

We had the players, Sacriston didn't!To be fair youse would have had to put two HLSCL teams and a NEDL team out. Getting 33 lads out feasible?

why aye man, nee bother! there's a bloke on Thompson road put the sprinklers on his lawn. groundsman at wearmouth has heard about it and has said there will be no cricket while there is a chance of any dampness
at least 11 spare players.

away man greavsie nee real names man. I'm meant to be incognito on here.
pitch hasn't half gone back since the owld fella left.
No-ones ever doubted was the right/wrong thing to do.Just to put things straight lads from an ex Wearmouth player who now plays for Sacriston. We have 2 third team and a second team that were meant to play on the Sunday which would mean 33 players. We don't use first teamers on a Sunday and only use the odd second teamer so it was the right thing to do.
Bloody rain spoilt it last night though. Was looking forward to watching it with some amber nectar.
By the way it's great to see things going well at Wearmouth and I was disappointed not to catch up with my old pal MC.
