Yes he would.

Boycott called him "a show-pony".
He's correct just like Boycott put himself before the team on most occasions. Both great players in their own ways, granted Cork was nothing more than good at international level.

To say cork achieved nothing is ridiculous really. For a period he was probably our main bowler in a very average england side and actually done ok.Decent if not brilliant with bat but il name you ten off top of head from 90s who played for England who couldn't tie his boots.
Mullally
Illott
McCague
Headley
Martin
Benjamin
Lawrence
Tudor
Lewis
Pringle.

Pringle was the worst player ever to play for England but he was Oxbridge and missed his blue to make his England debut. Peter May, Chairman of Selectors at the time, mentioned that as if Pringle was doing us a favour. They had better players in the old Durham Senior League at that time.

Pringle was woeful I couldn't agree more with that.Thankfully the old school tie doesn't really exist anymore within English cricket. Not doing us much good at minute mind.

Pringle was a six foot seven brick shithouse and he couldn't hoy a boiled egg ower the other side of the street.
Disgrace he got anywhere near the England team.
