He's from Hetton I believe.Played his junior cricket at eppleton.Got snaffled by the academy just before I signed for them.Got to a few of the games though and seemed a nice kid.He got a brother at the Lyons who's meant to be useful too.

He's a genuine all rounder too.Certainly won't be batting at ten throughout his career so his first innings knock didn't come as that much of a surprise to me really.
