lancashire fined 6 runs on friday

for a slow over rate
looking back to our t20 defeat by one run, the cut off time kept changing in lancs favour, all during their bowling innings. the same bowlers last night and yet they were fined.
also the two instances of a ball touching a rope a durham not getting a four, plus as i read in the journal of a lancs batsman taking 75 seconds to get to the crease and face, despite being allowed only 60 seconds, the more i am worried that the game was a wrong un and we may find in a few years a betting scandal involved

there was also a curiosity of parry bowling a fifth over, though i am certain, they mistook him for tom smith for one over

one last thing, tom smith of lancashire, has he some sort of nervous afliction, that cause his face to woble around, specially his mouth. watch it next time on sky

the big video scoreboard, had parry with 5 overs for about five mins. being present, i could see it was tom smith. my real gripe is that it was obvious lancs were taking a long time to bowl, with their long run ups. same happened last night but this time they were rightly penalised.

the cut off time changed four times during durhams innings, in favour of lancs. the last cut off time shown was 815 but the last over started at 820. nothing said by the umpires

would be canny to keep the crowd informed, ie me. still bitter about that game.

have you noticed smiths facial ticks? the lad must have a nerves problem in his face. caught my eye last night during his excellent inningfs
 
Can't really comment on the Durham game but they were very harshly treated last night IMO. Bresnan fucked about with a helmet for about 3 minutes.
 
another decision going against durham. umpires claiming they cant change the score is utter twaddle as it has been done for about 150 years, to rectify scores.
