ECB Take The Huff Again?

I note that once again, probably because the ECB didnt think of the idea, that they are once ore standing in the way of players competing in a lucrative tournament that will earn them a bit of money.

Exactly what is wrong with this competition - other than of course the ECB didnt think of it?
 

The stupid fuckers don't realise that letting them earn good money in this means they can be comfortable in life as a professional cricketer, actually reducing the pressure on them to pay more lucrative central contracts
 
So why stop them taking part in this competition and earning a bit more?

My point is that although they are paid professionals, they are not particularly well paid. If they earn a few quid in this league, they are supplementing their incomes nicely, taking the strain off the ECB.

Just think maybe we could do something like this in England. Like a womens super league where you would have 6 or 8 regional teams playing a t20 and a one day tournament in tandem on weekends. Each team could have 2 England professionals in them or something like that and show games on TV. Just an idea.
