Wood 9 overs for 52 runs. Ha'way man, pitch the cùnt up for fuck sake

no credit to the batsmen then

No, because they're being gifted runs by poor bowling.

When we pitched it up yesterday we took 4 wickets and had them in trouble. This morning we've dropped it short and gone for loads.

7 fours in the last 4 overs.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!

Simpson b Stokes 44.

Stokes, Wood and Hastings have all been very wayward this morning. Disappointing to bowl so poorly when we had our foot on their throats.

Rushy back into the attack. The only bowler to actually find a line and length today so hopefully he can cause a few problems.

No need to panic, ridiculous strong position still.

Would we bowl again?

Looking at the weather we have no choice of course

The weather website I use and usually find useful seems to think the rain threat for the day has gone........

Biblical tomorrow mind.

The 'panic' is only really brought about by the dire forecast. Five full sessions of play from here and we piss it IMO.

Stokes drops Stirling off Rushworth on 17.

Short piece by the BBC on Hastings . Seems like a thoroughly likeable bloke, just wants to play cricket and seems very grateful to have been given a chance. Could this perhaps turn into a more long term venture? With JH returning for the next few seasons??

On that note it sounds like Hastings is bowling a very good, testing spell here.

Stirling could be a difficult nut to crack here mind. And Toby. Posh-Knacker can hold a bat. Wonder if it's worth turning to Borthwick for a short time..... Bowled 60 overs of seam upto now and if we're going to make them bat again it could be worth resting the quicks a bit.

Huge band of heavy rain has skirted past the ground an play continues. Ha'way the sunshine

Still 60 overs left in the day, so here's hoping for some pleasant weather. Here is Wood on to replace Hastings.

This session, like the first of the day, has started very sedately. Not ideal for us. Really think we need to have them all out by Tea. Middlesex nearly at the first batting point, not that we should care whatsoever about that. Stokes replacing Rushworth now.

Are people actually expecting us to take another 14 wickets before the close of play today?

Not sure about anyone else but I'm not.

203-6. More short shite from the bowlers.

Yet another half tracker is belted for four. Seriously Durham, what the fuck are you doing bowling continuously short??!

Durham feel Sterling edges behind, umpire and batsman think not. Wood has words with Stirling. 224-6

Bloody frustrating after such tight lines bowled yesterday.

Just as I reply there's another shite short ball dispatched to the boundary. You raise a good point, it seems like every short ball goes to the boundary. Stokes and Wood just aren't doing it today. 50 partnership.

Three fours in four balls off Stokes. This is pathetic. I'm taking the dog out, sick of listening to shit bowling.

Is Emmerson commentating? Careful not to take him too seriously. I once listened to a game when I was there aswell and the bloke may aswell have been watching a different game. His knowledge leaves a lot to be desired.
