Should Jos Buttler be Englands new Test wicketkeeper?
 

i voted for yes, as this is the perfect time for him to come in. if prior is unfit, its pointles going back to foster at his age. buttler in form, no malinga in tests either, he has to play surely?

one other thing, i cant remember offhand who said it, but he was called jose, as in mourinho, after the game the other day. poss cook
 
If Prior is fit I think he has got one more summer in him.

he has a lot to prove though. since new zealand away, his batting has been dodgy. if fit he will start but buttler has to be next in if prior is not fit/selected.

going back to foster will not exactly show any courage from the new regime

Foster s name should not even be in the frame.He is yesterdays nearly man.

Would like to see Buttler develop a bit more.
 
Yes he is the future,I know his first class average is nothing to write home about,but have said it before he just looks like he has the right mentality for international cricket,we need to give him his chance and stick with him,he will only improve.
 
With us likely to have Stokes at 7 and the keeper at 8 I think it gives more license to England to pick a good keeper rather than a decent keeper who can bat.

Let's face it, Buttler isn't too great at either of those in First Class cricket.
 
athers was saying what i said the other day. how can england rewind 12 years and select foster? pick him if prior is unfit and the sri lankans will be well happy

that poll showing 63% and 43% . is that a ukip poll?
