Thanks mate.

Another drop off the bowling of Sterling. Third one to go down off him all at leg slip.

351-1 from 77 overs. 4-0

Turns out to be good toss to have lost! Looking forward to maximum batting points and then a quandary. Do we bat out or declare and deprive them of bowling points? Former for me.

Rocky 185* Scotty 136*.

Both batsmen now on their Highest First Class scores. Borthwick's was 135 before today, Stoneman's was 131.

Depending on the weather tomorrow, bat on. The pace with which we're scoring could see us up towards 600 by the middle of tomorrow which enables us to not have to bat again.

If we bat well enough they won't get any bowling points anyway. Declaration or not.

Stoneman out for 187.

any wicket against middlesex surely, we've had a few 300+ at least
I'm sure marty said it was the best ever.

edit: no he's now said durham have had 300 run partnerships, poor commentary before then.

It was the 5th best durham partnership

New ball taken.

Stuart Rayner writes - "A roar goes up as the partnership goes past the 258 which was Durham's previous best for the second wicket, between current coach Jon Lewis and Martin Love in 2001. We have a knowledgeable crowd in."

im sure that is what marty said on the commentary tbf

365-3. Bonus point for Middlesex. Richardson made 4. Stalking slightly now. I'd settle for steady consolidation and 400-3 at Close now!
