Makes last nights decision to come off for bad light even more of a joke. I'm sure both teams wanted to stay on. After all, we'd have got to 350 within 4/5 overs of where they were and the way the lads were scoring I wouldn't have been shocked to see us make 400.

Our failure against Northants hasn't helped .. Middlesex next up, so we need to put on a good batting show in the first innings

Yes that was a poor result in hindsight. Everyone bar somerset has now lost a game. Means that the only thing we havent done is win 1. do that and as I say the table looks very different for us.
