320-4 after 80 overs. Off for bad light. Real shame. Just hope we can get back on (tomorrow if not today) to secure 5 batting points.

Players coming back on :D

18 overs left in the day.

Hoping we get back on is not something we are accustomed to this season!

335-4, off for bad light again. They had 3 overs of the new ball. There are 15 overs left in the day but we are losing them by each passing minute.

Have to go some though to get maximum batting points. 4 would do though. Great recovery by the lads!

If we are able to bat 110 overs we should piss it. This is what pisses me off about cricket, it's apparently no lighter or darker than it was at Tea, yet they've been off and on and off and on. With this game seemingly going nowhere, why the fuck don't the umpires just stay out there and let both sides battle for bonus points?? Jobsworths.

Yes youre right. Read the overs wrong. We are on for 5 which would be great!

That's Close for the day.

Weather for tomorrow is forecast to be wet. Hopefully we can get some play though. An hour or so should be enough to get to 400. 13 points wouldn't be a bad return at all.

Totally agree.

Yet another pitch that is improving as the match goes on ?

Possibly. Then in fairness it's not even two days old overs wise, wickets at Notts in our recent few visits there have in the main been pretty good for batting though. Its just a shame the game is dead. Would've loved to see what we could've done with what looks likely to have been a healthy first innings lead.

Prolly huff and puff a lot ;)

You never know, stokes might blitz em after tea

Weather forecast for tomorrow is pretty lousy. We might be lucky enough to get enough overs in to get the extra batting point, but it looks unlikely we'll get the whole five. I'll be happy to find the Met Office have got it totally wrong though

They got it wrong today, if the forecast was to be believed then we should've been washed out.

f***ing daft still having tea when there was no play for most of the day, i just cannit understand why they still have breaks when all the players, umpires and fans have had nowt to do for so long.

I'm sure that tradition will always come before common sense when it comes down to the game we all love ......
