Done it twice! Fantastic way to spend a couple hours. Bit expensive though as an adults ticket is £18. Think you can but best book in advance just to be on the safe side.

How long does it last? Live nearby but never done it.

Went after the cup final on the Monday . Didn't do the tour just museum , ( which is the first part of the tour and the guide included us in it for nowt, nice old bloke ) some cracking stuff in it don't overlook it for the tour . Must have spent 2.5 hours in there. Look in the drawers under the glass cases too , loads of stuff not on display .

Yep, done the museum over a lunch break and the full tour
on a spare day. Both worthwhile. Would do the tour then head back into the museum if you can. You also get free admission for a days county match on the day you do the tour, so worth thinking about that...

Did one at the beginning of the 2013 season on a non match day, so they took us into the press/media centre as well as the changing rooms. Guide was brilliant, had a real in depth knowledge of the game and history as well as a good sense of humour. The weird thing is they have a strict dress code which is relaxed for the tour, so you go through the long room etc. I thought it was brilliant and well worth the money.

The tours appear to be every hour and people were turning up and buying tickets. Ours was very leisurely and took nearly two hours - was then let loose in the MCC shop and hammered me plastic!
