according to the BBC it's going to piss down all day; can see us abandoning the picnic (going with the wife!) and heading into town for a Sunday dinner!

Sadly. Although the met office has the chance of rain at 40% for most of the day on their hour by hour forecast. It will rain at some point and we'll definitely lose overs. Hope we can get a game in though.

80% chance of rain. Think they may manage 10 overs, to at least avoid a whole refund.

Won't mind a 20/20. But it's the on/off start and stop I can't stand. The Duckworth Lewis thing is awful too.

Hope we get a game. Although it's lashing down as I type.

I ll be gutted as it's my first game. It's on my bucket list. Sit in the sun drink beer and watch the cricket! f***ing UK weather.
 
Weather should be ok till around 12 accotding to the forecast.
 
It's bright in Monkwearmouth now. Setting off in 15 minutes, pint in me hand for 10:30:lol:
 
I think it will be an on/off sort of day.

Should be enough dry spells to get a decent game on.

I'd really like to see a big crowd turn up last minute otherwise we'll end up probably taking a big loss on this causing us to rethink having future internationals up here.

I just hope the ECB also stop charging counties extortionate amounts to host them. Bandits.
 
The media have started to say Durham CC home fixtures are played at Durham,which greatly annoys my cousin who is from Chester - le - Street.
