Didn't think Simon had maintained any interest in Cricket since he retired from playing. By all accounts,however, he was an excellent bowling coach with the junior players.
Perhaps he could have a quick net and join the squad for Notts!

Had been playing for Sunderland for 10 years up until this season. Has done a lot of coaching with Lancs and Durham too.

Aye if you want him bowling darts off 3 paces like he has done for the last 5 years . :lol::lol:
Great local cricketer chubs hard as nails in attitude and a gent to know . Pleased for him he will do well he's an intelligent bloke who doesn't flash it off .
