our lad sangers in now. 0 for 1 off 1. wicket maiden and its swinging. new ball at both ends, we could do them with swing. gurney now
 
How does Duckworth/Lewis work? I always assumed it was run rate calculated. Confused as to how they need 12 more runs than us from the same amount of over.

something about the power play overs we didnt get. duckworth lewis is unfathomable at the best of times. also sri lanka had 10 wickets to score so it balances out england had 2 wickets down at the rain break

or a blamange

60 for 2 off 13. not a game yet. need to bowl 20 overs

restart at 805pm. dl revised target again. 226 off 32. so thats 166 needed off 18.3 overs. should be a decent finish

63 for 3 now caught third man dilshan off jordan, who could be man of the match, with a couples more wickets here
 
I think the ODI team is getting close to as good as it can be with the players available, if that makes sense.

I still want to see Hales given a go at the top with a licence to score in the powerplay and we still need to find a bowler to bowl at the death.
