I am lightened up mate but leave the grandad shite out

Let's see when the season ends ehh
You keep saying this, but no other team is under any illusions that Littletown are the best and strongest team within the league; so there is little to "see at the end of the season". Should be more open next season.

whats the best place to look at for joining teams always fancied it but apart from a few games at school never been member of one

If you're based in Seaburn then your best bet would, depending on ability:

Top class pro: Littletown
Decent: Whitburn
Anything else: Wearmouth/Simonside.

Is this why teams are turning up with shit attitudes towards us?? Some of the crack last week was rediculous - one of your lads claiming we were "shite bowlers" after he'd had his stumps splattered was bordering on comical.

New boys on the block. youve stirred things up a bit and in the steady away world of cricket that doesnt go down too well.

what you need to do is know your place in the pecking order and roll over on command. ;)

bantersaurus rex

Wearmouth will be your best bet son, ignoring the crap patter of some. Few good people there and if you havent really played before, 3rd team is a nice, gentle intro

The following picture has appeared on Facebook overnight. shows a 12 year old lad batting for Annfield Plain Academy side against Wansbeck Academy yesterday afternoon. He came in on a hat trick ball with everyone around the bat. Batted for over 20 overs to help APCC bat the overs out.

Good on the lad. Not how many runs you get, it's how and when you make them. Wansbeck were a canny team last year

Good on the kid - good experience for him that will stand him good stead for years to come.

That will be 'The Colonel's' son Harry (I would guess), he is a very good prospect along with one or two other very good young players at APCC!
That sort of mind set and skill in one so young to bat that long, has to be admired and applauded!!!
