Thing with Swann is I reckon he would always of planned to retire from tests and do IPL/20 2o stuff

The timing of his retirement means that he knows he would get some stick coming back and playing.

I can't understand why a top class international cricketer would just retire all together, worth milking massively

Don't see why he could't be England's 20 20 spinner
 
So, T20 isn't the way forward any more, it's now the way back.
 
He said his body couldn't handle it any more cricket so he quit all forms, he done nowt wrong...

However, should he comeback and play t20 my opinion will change.

other way round for me at least it shows he must be still into the game as he wouldn't get mega bucks for playing in this one
 
I don't mind Swann and what he did. The Ashes were gone, he could have picked up a few more £ by playing on 'til the World T20 but his time had gone and he went.

Swann won't tear anyone apart (again) but it'd boost domestic T20 if he did.
