Hales has to be in there

Australia would of picked him

Warner, Finch and Maxwell had very limited and poor first class cricket records, but they saw their potential

Only England would just dismiss someone like Hales because he can't score runs against a moving red ball in ridiculous English conditions

All the pitches around the world are flat man ffs, he is one lad who can hit it out of the park on a consistent basis.

Hales has gone out on loan to Worcs, his confidence must have taken a hit following his disappointment at not being selected in the IPL. It's probably a good idea not to have picked him in the England squad for now, give him a chance to get some performances under his belt early season.

To be fair he scored his 100 against Sri Lanka after he didn't get an IPL contract. Noticed he scored 61 last week but wasn't in the team this week (since saw that he got a duck in the second innings) so he looks in decent nick. Hope he does well at Worcs, entertaining cricketer when he plays for England.
