Absolutely devastated for the lad.
Been brilliant this season despite what people say, without him we probably wouldn't have had our trip to wembley and has saved us a few points in the league.
Hope he's with us for a few more years yet.
Doesn't rhyme..

Overall, he's had a really good season, but in the last few weeks, he's looked like the clown he looked at Arsenal. His goalkeeping at Spurs, on Saturday, and for the second tonight, was desperate stuff.

If we go down it clearly won't be down to Mannone, but I don't see how you could fail to blame him for our failure to win tonight.

He's a lot better than I thought he was going to be when we signed him. I did however think he was going to be absolute shite given that wenger cant spot a goalkeeper like a hole in his arse and he was still third choice.

Keeper was left open by a slow footed defence and did well to get down to it but sadly blundered, move on and forget it,he has done well most of the season.

Hasn't been brilliant he's cost us a goal almost every game in the last 2 months.

Simply not good enough at shot stopping and too slow to move his legs.

All keepers make mistakes it was just the timing of it that makes it so costly. It seems like it was just his turn the way this season has been going. Ironic that against one of the best teams in the league we created two excellent goals from open play and then gift them two goals from individual mistakes.

It was a bad error but I do think there were some mitigating circumstances. The ball came at him quickly through a forest of legs and he didn't have much time to adjust himself. I'm certainly not absolving him of blame but I've seen much more experienced keepers make much worse mistakes.
