Can't think of a successful club in England where a Director of Football, Technical Director or whatever the hell you want to call him, decides the players to sign. Short seems determined to find out the hard way.

I think Short should 'resign' as Chairman and go back to being just an owner. He's made a right f***ing mess of it.
