Sacking Bruce

Maybe this is why constant sackings doesnt work????

And Poyet....

He's got hull to a cup final and a high spot in the league, are you saying that was a fluke?

Hull are currently 13th, hardly a high placing, but admittedly he's done well to keep them up. Maybe he's learned from the mistakes he made here, or maybe it's because he has a different assistant (so I believe).

Hull must have had the easiest run to an FA cup final ever. Has any other top flight club got there by only having to play one other top flight club, at home where the opposition thought the game wasn't important? Hull's cup run cannot be used as proof of Bruce's managerial ability.

We would have been relegated a few seasons back if we hadn't endulged in constant sackings.

We were awful under him for ages.. or is it one of those things that the manager looks better with hindsight? ;)
8 of the players involved in the last match were playing under him,

No.

It was Bruces massive list of long-contract, high-wage signings that fucked us over. They were so shit that we've been stuck with them ever since, bleeding us dry.

£8m on Wickham
£6m on Gardner
£5m on O'Shea and Brown on four year deals

Jesus wept.

100%.

His failure to come in for Cattermole is testament to this.

thats the frustrating thing

he appears vindicated by the media with the good job he is doing at Hull at the minute (and able to use the birthplace card as a sympathy card, btw what a devious move that was.) but the "experts" have failed to notice that a couple of decent loan signings and Mig have kept us up way longer than we should have and the signings are still first team regulars here and are on big fat contracts.

He fucked us over deliberately that summer.

He knew what he was doing.

dont think I agree with that like  but its your opinion all the same.
Maybe I was a little tongue in cheek, but when you look back on it and now how he's lauding it over us at Hull I bet he's secretly laughing to himself about the ticking time bomb he left us holding.

Those signings were more clumsy and ill thought out than deliberate, but they've killed us nonetheless.

That's because he's got a grit big tatty heed and looks a bit like Mrs Doubfire, he's too 'cuddly' for a media whipping!

Not really, he did well the season prior, the year we beat Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge, then decides to strengthen by signing Gardner and Larsson amongst others. Part of the reason we are where we are.
