Is the Chanpionship game confirmed?? If so that's excellent news. Loved every minute of our lastChampionship appearance v Kent in 2010.

Beat Kent with Stokes scoring 160 plus? Next game we were demolished inside 2 days by Ntini at the riverside. Stokes batted basically on one leg having pulled the ligaments in his ankle but got 50.

Aye, Rob Key scored 260 or summit inside a Day as they made 400. Stokes scored a ton in the first innings and 40 odd in the second without being dismissed in either.

That and saw the emergence of Scotty Borthwick too. Well, it wasn't his debut but he performed very well on the second innings alongside Blackie in spinning Kent into a frenzy.
 
The south/north divide is embarrassing when it comes to TV picks mind.

Essex/Middlesex must be on atleast 10 time yet Durham, the county champions are on 4....
 
Always has been that way.

It used to always be a Surrey/Middlesex love in.

Probably easier to transport all the equipment to those places rather than get a nosebleed travelling oop North.

had the pleasure of being at every glorious second of that. stokes' 26 off the final over before lunch on day 4 to wrap it up was pretty special haha.

borthwick batted at 3 and looked a scratchy bag of nerves in the first innings :lol: made about 3 and i think 13 in the second and i must admit i thought it was going to be an abject failure him in the top order.
