He has announced his retirement from Australian domestic cricket, and he and his family are moving to England to pursue buisness interests, but has indicated he still wants to play cricket. He must have a deal lined up not sure whether if he has access to an EU/British passport. Be interesting to see where he is playing his cricket this summer.

He is married to a girl from Gateshead I think so should have a passport. Heard rumours early in the winter he was signing for Felling, then heard he would be playing for Durham but gone quiet lately

Moving to Newcastle but not until mid season has set up a business importing aussie wines. Not playing cricket this summer at least locally.

Yeah that's true. I'd be amazed if Felling could afford him, I'd imagine he'll play for an NEPL side. Would Durham not fancy him again?

Felling / Durham already have overseas players, Marcus doesnt told a British or EU passport yet despite being married to a lass from the Fell so would have to be an out and out overseas. Tried to sign for Felling three years ago to play first 6 or 7 games of the season in the DSL when he was across for a wedding but Australia knocked it back as he was still centrally contracted and as such there was an issue with insurance .

Anyone got Jon Lewis' number?? Get him to bloody sign him up! He can play afore that Hastings comes!! Or even as our second overseas in T20.[DOUBLEPOST=1396560812][/DOUBLEPOST]While he's here he can gan down to Durham Passport Office and sort himself a nice British one out!

I wonder if Durham actually bothered to approach him or did they just think "Why should we get him when we have Gordon Muchall?"
