Giles can just fuck off! Can anyone tell me what he actually offers as a coach? Would genuinely rather have Peter Moores back and that says an awful lot.

That's assuming he'd want to take the job in the first place. Heard a report on the radio on Sunday that no big name had applied for the job. Peter Moores was the only notable name who'd applied along with a couple of county coaches too.

I doubt he would want it,they couldn't do a lot with these soft arse bastards. It needs a carachter like Husain even a Vaughan or dare I say it a ponting
Moores is a better choice than Giles by a long way.giles is just an ecb favourite

No way should Broad be captain, he shows no authority at all. He was just standing there with arms on hips, while the whole team just strolled around the pitch. He should have been urging them on DEMANDING them to get their arses into gear.

As for Giles ffs useless twat he is more concerned about his image (how he looks trendy in his £500 shades ) Hopefuuly this will damage his chances of getting the job. ( But then again)
 
im sure we were number 1 and 2 in 50 over and t20 when giles took over and look at us now. we need a forward thinking coach, not an uninspiring dullard, i know he didnt work out at the aussies and the homework thing was ridiculous but mickey arthur would be the best shout out of the candidates. oh and jade dernbach is the worst cricketer i have seen play for england in any format
 
Can't get over how good the West Indies are. Badree has played 12 first class matches at the age of 33 and Santokie at the age of 29 has never played a first class match!

Unreal how they can do what they do picking these otherwise mediocre cricketers.

There whole set up appears to be around T20 and not first class cricket anymore.
