Washington vs Sacriston tomorrow night at Eppleton CC in the Final of the Ken Ferguson Memorial Trophy.6pm start

There will be at least 6 county players playing. Should be a good game

This is at under 15 level and both sides have Durham cricket board players with a few of them having broken in to there first teams this season.. The standard of cricket should be of a very good standard... Let's hope the forecasted rain for the start time stays away....

Both clubs rapidly becoming the place to be junior cricket wise. Excellent junior setups and dozens of kids vying for places. Is Matty Potts still an under 15?

Yes. He is he's opening the batting at the moment for Washington 1sts and doing as well as the seniors.. Some very good under 15s around the county set up..

Must be the lads last year at U15 level?

I've seen a bit of most of the age groups and they all have at least half a dozen top quality kids. Stacks of effort going into the junior coaching by the DCB, for obvious reasons.

May have a dodge up for this tonight, weather permitting

@EppletonCC: Ken Ferguson Under 15s Result:

@SacristonCCC 125-5

@Washy_CC 85-10

Hope everyone that did get along had a great night

Yes it was a great night of cricket. 2 really good teams on show and played how it should be.
I also think that Eppleton CC, John Smithson and Sam Blacklock need to be thanked for their efforts too.
Ken was a great man and I must admit I shed a tear when my son was the first player to collect the trophy.
