I would have played our best 11 ,the next games not until saturday and a win would have given the players and the fans a lift the remaining games

It just shows the amount of idiots and mags we have on this forum.

How anyone can defend yesterdays" we dont want the cup" team selection is beyond me-.

Why bring on Johnson and Borini if "we don't want the cup"?[DOUBLEPOST=1394447186][/DOUBLEPOST]
aye lets not even enter the cups, so we can finish 17th in the prem year after year.

Fuck me.

We were in a f***ing cup final 8 days ago.

And could have been in europe for the first time in 40 years

Or we could've got beat off Hull.

Look at the team on the pitch when Hull scored their first. 8 of the same 10 outfield players who beat City in the first half of the League Cup Final.

We are a chronically inconsistent tam, have been all season.

So it's OK to speculate that we'd have won the FA Cup and stayed up on a tide of great morale, but not to speculate that we'd have still got beat?[DOUBLEPOST=1394446668][/DOUBLEPOST]

I give up. It's like you're all on the blob.

What did happen versus what could have happened?

We should have started with the same team that played man city,we still might have getting beat but at least we would have given it a go

What happened is that we conceded 3 goals against Hull, represented by a team that was broadly the same as what is considered our first team. The only outfield players missing were Brown (hasn't played in 5), Ki and Alonso.

We started with a weakened team because we've a lot of this season yet to play, but there's no evidence whatsoever that we'd have beaten Hull had we not. They are objectively better than us this season, sadly.

Maybe if we started Ki then we'd have won the FA Cup and stayed up. You'd have got long odds on that happening, and yet many are acting like Poyet has personally snatched the trophy out of your hands.

Poyet dropped a bollock, the players didn't turn up for him. Nowt wrong with saying that, and it doesn't mean you want the manager sacked. Sort it out and move to the next game, which we're now going into with trepidation that didn't need to be there. Tough shit, they made their bed, now they have to win the supporters over again.

My personal opinion - it's an attempt to get in on the ground floor with the usual PF I'm better than you smuggery when it's not required.

So the players have to "win the supporters over" after every defeat?

That's called knee-jerking.

FFS, you're consistent when talking shit. Fair play.

It's likely to be a party atmosphere against Palace then. That's me telt.[DOUBLEPOST=1394448849][/DOUBLEPOST]
3 defeats on the bounce. It's like Christmas for him.

He'll be the Pied Piper of hatred this week, just watch.

Sweating on 'renouncing support' for the full house already.

I reckon the supporters will back the team.

Or maybe you're right, and they'll all stand there with folded arms and pouted lips, waiting for an apology.

Time will tell really.

 And to think you got a cup final ticket over actual supporters.
