He played it after pretty much an entire stadium sang "you fat Geordie c@nt get out of our club" not before.Then after he left he was asked about his time here and he said his roots weren't helpful and in hindsight shouldn't have taken job.Also mentioned finishing tenth and that he felt deserved more time because of this. Fail to see why that constitutes such a fuss to be honest.Just let it go.

If you're going to spout shit at least get your facts right you thick ****.

But when nearly 40,000 fans are calling him a fat Geordie c@nt hasn't he a right to feel a bit aggrieved?
As I have said the time was right for him to go and he didn't get sacked because if his birthplace and he never said he did just that it didn't help when things where going wrong and he 100% right on that.He has had more grief than any manager during my time supporting and has actually been one of better ones.
What di canio did was so bad it was untrue yet that barely gets a mention in comparison to Bruce.
I know who id rather have as my gaffer.

I presume the Wigan game? I doubt there was even 10k left in at the end man

When things are going wrong, things are going wrong regardless of his birthplace the manager would get the blame 9 times out of 10

He has been one of the better ones and we had argubly the most talented team at safc in my time too but it was mainly his fault for its demise also to blame his roots for this is ridiculous, if it wasnt so shit then the manager gets no stick. He also spent a lot of coin to get that team

Comparing PDC to SB is pointless mate as they are two totally different scenarios

Thankfully we dont need to make a choice out of PDC and SB

He was slagging the fans off before then though.
This. Keane never slagged us off, but Bruce couldn't resist it. He got on our backs by his complete disrespect to the fans of the club. It showed that he'd not outgrown those feelings from his Mag roots. He even got some of the players joining in with it, which is why some of have shown so little regard, and belief for the club, even during O'Neill's tenure. I do think though, at last it's dawned on them that they let us down for too long.

Make that a section of fans.

It was "fat Geordie bastard" you thick mag knacker.

I think we will get beat, simply by playing a weakened team.

I really think it would be a mistake to play a weakened team. The lads who played against City will be desperate to get the defeat out of their systems and resting them wont do any good.

If we go full strength, then we will go through

Thought it was MBH
Des or MBH. Very little difference between them. Both arrogent, patronising WUMs.[DOUBLEPOST=1394195481][/DOUBLEPOST]
I'm exactly right actually.I was at Wigan game Bonny lad and abuse was bang out of order.He never mentioned anything about his roots prior to this because why would he?
PMSL at this gem :lol::lol::lol:

What an absoloute crock of shit.Bruce is a professional person and will give no more thought to Newcastle than any other team..put yourself in that position if you were being paid handsomely by Newcastle would you give a f@ck about sunderland ? I certainly wouldn't and vice versa.
I'm a sunderland lad and love to see us do well but my allegiance lies to me and me only.Give me the option of team I play for even at my moderate level winning and sunderland it isn't even a contest and trust me a bloke who been as successful as Bruce will feel exactly the same..

I don't know about a fat Geordie c@nt, but you are either terribly misinformed, or a lying c@nt.

Upon Joining Sunderland Steve Bruce;

"I think they like one of their own from the north east," he said. "It's results on the pitch that matter. I hope I can win over the few doubters I have. Unless you're born up here, you don't really realise what it means."

continuously factually incorrect. kindly fuck off back to talk of the toon.
You prove where I'm factually incorrect then? This mag Craic is really bland mind.Il wager I have forgotten more about the history of our club than you'll ever know I'm just not some blinkered one eyed Knacker who thinks everyone who has something remotely negative to say about sunderland is a mag.

Bruce was barely a mag anyway. Loafd of absolute shite made up by himself to cover up the fact he was failing. I didn't mind the bloke when he was here but what a wanker he comes across as since he left

None was heard until the 90th minute and that goal.

The bad runs were the reason people lost faith in him, please stop talking bollocks.

And what's your point ? Nothing sinister said there infact the total opposite.
