What will it be this time then. 10th place, doing the double over us or summat else

That'll be one of the best things about beating them on Sunday.....him squirming in his post match interview.

The only other time in his managerial career that he has reached the quarter finals of the the fa cup other than on Sunday his Birmingham team lost 0 7 at home to Liverpool !

We ought to get Micky Bridges over on Sunday just to sit on the bench to terrorize the fat bastard again, he retired him as a player/manager,

I had nothing against Bruce due to him being a Geordie, it was his blaming of everything other than himself when things weren't going well, rightly got the boot and exactly when Blep said he would as well.

Here we go again with the shit Steve Bruce craic.
Why don't our fans just accept they don't like him because he was a mag and be done with it? It's crystal clear the reasons behind the bitterness.
The bloke done a decent ebough job here to a point and certainly no worse than keane and oneil who basically walked away without even a murmur from the crowd in regards wanting then out.
Then again oneil was apparently a sunderland fan who worshipped Charlie Hurley so that was ok!
And before we start with the usual we dislike him because he claims to have been sacked for being a Geordie the "fat Geordie c@nt get out of our club" chants started before he got the bullet so that can't be used as an excuse.
Next line is usually "we have a statue of a Geordie outside our ground".Difference being he was a successful one so again that's fine.
No one can doubt our fans will give anybody a chance regardless of where there from but can't dispute minute it goes wrong the whole Newcastle thing will rear its head.
As for Bruce going on about finishing tenth, sacked for being a Geordie etc (he never said that either just that it didn't help) all he is doing is answering questions put to him unlike that complete buffoon di canio who arranged an interview to vent his spleen and played an almighty shithouse trick on oshea during it! Again not nearly as much vitriol aimed at him despite it being much much worse. Then again he isn't a mag though! :-)

1) Hull have first FA Cup final in their sights

Something is growing in the city of Hull and it's not just sales of fake gold jewellery and seething resentment at a football club hierarchy's bid to realise their implausible dream of a black and amber branded wider football world. Far from safe but reasonably placed for Premier League survival, Hull City look to be on the verge of something a bit special and their fans are increasingly full of hope. Having already dispatched Middlesbrough, Southend United and Brighton from this year's FA Cup, the Tigers are now just one eminently winnable match and lucky draw away from an eminently winnable Wembley semi-final against a side from the Championship or League One. At home to a Sunderland team potentially reeling from valiant Wembley defeat and steeling themselves for tougher Premier League battles to come, it's probably safe to say the Hull manager, Steve Bruce, couldn't have picked a better draw if he'd been given his pick of the balls from the official FA tombola. Clearly bitter over the manner in which Sunderland dispensed with his services, ending an association he has since described as "a mistake", Bruce clearly revelled in his side's win at the Stadium of Light a month ago and will be anxious to put one over his old club again in a bid to steer his team a step closer to their first ever FA Cup final. Bruce has been deservedly praised for his astute dealings in the January transfer window, bringing in Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic, who quickly clicked to strike up a winning partnership. And the only blot on a potentially perfect day for the manager? The duo's unavailability for selection as a result of being Cup-tied through previous appearances for other teams in this year's competition. BG

Fuck off, Mag!

It was a stick to beat him with because he was destroying everything we had built.

He would have had just as much shit, no matter where he was from.

Cheers Steve.

They are bang up for it like. The way the sang Que Sera Sera in the replay ya'd think the buggers were already there, and they have beat us twice already after all. Let's just hope their over confidence is their undoing, 'cos we shouldn't be taking this game lightly neither.

Mag??? Don't be dick and embarrass yourself Bonny lad. If he would have had just as much stick then as I said previously why didn't oneil and keane?
I have no problem if fans want to blast him for his roots just stop trying to dress it up as any other and admit it FFS![DOUBLEPOST=1394192037][/DOUBLEPOST]
