Yes. Not necessarily in the environment of international cricket though. Don't think for one minute that he will be allowed to forget what happened in Aus by his opponents in the middle.

If he is fit to return, he should be made to work his way back in by getting runs on the county circuit. Trott walking straight back in would reinforce the belief that the England team is a jobs for the boys club.

I cant see any evidence of cavemen on this thread. No one is without sympathy for this misunderstood complex issue. The point is, surely, whether the environment of international cricket is the right place to recover from it. Certainly, everyone deserves a second chance....but it would be a risk. There is utterly nothing controversial here.
