Its not just this forum and dont let anyone tell you it ever is.

Some embarrassing comments... If you remember last time we beat them in the cup it was all about how they were going to get top 4... now its top 7

Some comments about us... we are not rated still by them

What a bunch of wankers. Southampton never have been, aren't and never will be a patch on Sunderland as a football club. They sound like mags or spuds, no more needs said…...

They have every right to be pissed off. We played a reserve team and pretty much dominated the game without creating too much.

Lamberts miss. :lol::lol::lol:
You clearly havent heard the commentary. We had a full strength team out apart from johnson, bridcutt, altidore, fletcher, ki brown and mannone

Thats what they said anyway

It was southampton who were playing their kids

Sorry Carlos how on earth do we compete with a club of such illustrious history as this ..........................;) spelling mistakes aren't mine by the way

the team's greatest moment (to date) came in 1976, when they reached the , playing Manchester United at , and surprised all observers by beating much-fancied United 1–0 thanks to a goal from . Southampton had finally broken their major honours duck and finally laid to rest memories of defeats in the 1900 FA Cup Final against Bury and more agonisingly the 1902 FA Cup Final against Sheffield United.

Deluded.

What a bunch of deluded muppets, I hope they go the same way as Birmingham, reading, wigAn and all the other clubs who have a couple of flukey seasons then fuck off to where they belong

well they thought they had a chance at top 4 in November time so now there season is over i assume there not taking it to well

 It was mental though, not sure which player it was but he stayed applauding the fans and they were all just booing and kicking off, the poor lad even pointed to himself as if to say 'why are you booing just me!'

Hooiveld (sp?) according to their forum

Their manager doesn't want to play in the europa league so they just have to accept that if they are not challenging for the title that their season is over unfortunately.

i know i was there

It was like the Di Canio situation at west brom in a way

BTW i thought Southampton sold 3000 for this game  didnt sound or look that many?

I thought their fans seemed canny before the match. Canny way to travel to be rewarded with that performance, can see why they are pissed off.
Seems unfair to judge fans by their message boards, let's be honest anyone reading pf on a match day couldn't have a high opinion of us.
