Surely the FA will see it as a crude attempt to have him available for the derby and review the decision before the weekend ?

I'd have thought an 'honest' appeal would have been made immediately or yesterday at the latest !
 
If that gets overturned then the FA open a can of worms, he would still miss our game surely, he'd be guilty till proven innocent?

Pardew said he wouldn't appeal as it was probably a red card offence. Desperate as fuck.
 
Whilst they are appealing it, does that make him available to face us? Then another match gets added if the appeal fails?

Not always, Vidic didn't get an extra game ban after Man U appealed his red before the cup semi I think.
