Cattermol to Stoke....

And what have we been achieving whilst these great servants have been at the club? The massive plus point of getting rid of the likes of Cattermole is that its another of the big heads that rule the dressing room gone. The culture is wrong. Comments have been made by ex pros about the drinking culture at the club for years, and the sooner we get rid of that culture the better (some players such as Fletcher or Bardsley may well benefit if some of their "pals" are removed from influencing them).
Unbelievable. Bardsley has been a grade A kernt and yet you say it might benefit him if catts was to leave.[DOUBLEPOST=1390348201][/DOUBLEPOST]
When was the last time he was a goal threat
Blokes more of liability than a plus

You can hear the whole crowd hold their breath when he gans in for a tackle
Get ya head out ya arse ger man. Let's stick with Larsson, Gardner n colback eh?

Don't get me wrong, I would also like to see us shift on Bardsley as well (and Fletcher for that matter) as firstly, I don't think they are good enough either, but secondly they are also ones who seem part of the poor culture at the club (PDC told us so - he was just a bit stupid in how he went about trying to sort it). I used them as examples that one or two left in the squad from the bad could actually personally benefit as they'd not have as many bad influences around them.

it would be remarkable if this came off. 5 million is silly money for someone who has been unable to mend his ways over the years.

so far only one manager has paid money for him (twice!) and even he said he's glad he doesn't have to manage him anymore.

It's probably a good move. I like Catts' work rate even if he is reckless at times. I just think he is too hesitant on the ball for the position he is playing. Bringing in someone that is calmer on the ball help the attack by keeping better possession and starting the occasional counter.

Our problem isnt so much Cattermole but the lack of other players who could replace him. Ki is the best and he is not ours after that we are down to Colback, who is ok but isnt going to win you games, Larsson who is going backwards and Gardner who is woeful. Then there is Vaughn whose buggered off somewhere on loan along with Big Alfred. If anyone can make a good premier league central midfield out of that lot which isnt going to struggle then they really are a miracle worker.

Unless we get two prove plyaers i honestly don't think we should let him go until the summer.

Seves us right mind. The lack of ability in central midfield has been plain for years.
