Stokes came in at three :confused:

Haven't seen any of it but looks like we got off to a decent start (both Bell and Cook got starts and had good strike rates), but then some turgid middle order batting (Stokes, Ballance, Bopara) meant we relied on Bresnan and Morgan to get us to something respectable.

Fuck me, Xavier Doherty 10 overs 1-28 :lol:

aye, what the fuck is that about? bat him at 6 in the test, great success, then stick him at 8, then 3... since when is he a top order player? we tried to play him at 4 in county games with no success so how would he manage 3 in international cricket?

sometimes it seems like england are deliberatly trying to fuck up young talented cricketers...

It's really pissing me off about England, that. I didn't like how they did the same with Root in the tests, moving him up and down and around the order before they dropped him. Completely ridiculous. It's not the young players to blame for this farce of a tour.

yup. they don't have a clue how to treat a player. look at how they treated onions and compton just as recent examples.
