Steven Finn sent home from tour

Apparently he hasn't been able to hit the strip since the second test. So why was he picked for the ODI team? Another pathetic decision and heads should roll.
 
This beggars belief. You look at the start Finn had in his test career and it looked as though this lad was going to be the cornerstone for years.
What's happened? I mean how much competitive match bowling has Finn actually done e in the last 6 months?
One thing I'd do would scrap central contracts and have them playing for their counties regularly.
Especially for bowlers they're a nonsense.

I think the system works, the problem is that England just don't release the players enough which is a problem with players like Bresnan and Harmison in the past who need a few games to get into their rhythm.
 
Middlesex tried to get him to bowl away swing
Saker fiddled with his run up as well. Between them, England and Middlesex have totally ruined our most promising fast bowler since Harmison. FWIW I think Finn could do worse than a season in Australia, worked for Broad.
