I find the notion that a forward in this day and age to be purely judged on goals and not allowing for team form or creativity "funny".

All have different sense of humour I guess.

As every become more acquainted with each other and style of play he will suit it perfectly. He can play with his back towards goal and link play very well.

Or we could go for a finisher. Fletcher is a very good one who provides absolutely nothing In this style, especially when out of form.

He needs goals, at the minute id start with altidore over fletcher as he brings more to the team, but eventually the goals will dry up in midfield and we need the strikers to step up

Completely agree, a goal or two would do him the world of good. But I think his general play is decent and helps the team, we just need the team to help him a little more. I think hell come good.

I disagree.. Altidore.. (maybe due to lack of confidence) as a striker was poor today. He did well for the pen and 1-2 but that was it. Didn't hold up the ball well at all or challenge for headers. Movement in the box was poor. He should be doing better. I think / hope Gus will work with him in training.

to be fair to altidore he played a big part in the last two goals, was availabe for the one two with Ki to set up the third and then obviously won the penalty for the fourth. Can't expect much more than that from him coming off the bench

Today? Kinell, plays a major part in two goals whilst the game is on a knife edge. Anything less than a Ronaldo is not good enough for us upfront for some.

you could like. He could have run past senderos at one point instead of turning into him and when we had 3 v 2 he should have had better movement.
It has to be lack of confidence..

Why was he going into the corner on that corner when we were 1-4? Should be desperate to get a goal!

I think you're being a bit harsh on him to be fair, he has done more today than fletch has the last two games
