playing for the draw here with helmet related shenanigans[DOUBLEPOST=1388801895][/DOUBLEPOST]ballance gone, bairstow in.. so we can;t be more than a ball or two away from stokes & borthwick.

also seeing the turn lyons is getting before and after lunch it makes the decision to leave root out even more idiotic.

Shoved the wireless on at 2.45 to find us 6 down for 81. Fuck me man. Has to be the end of the road for flower/cook.

Not for Flower at any rate, they have already reinstated him.

They've said they want him there til 2015. Whether he has the stomach to stay after this is another thing. Something has to change with Cook as well. He is neither inspiring as a batsman or a Captain and he's already said that he sees himself as an opening bat. If he were to step down I don't see any captain material in the team currently. Perhaps Bell at an absolute push.

All out. Bravo England! Might as well head straight to the airport as another 500 - 600 total is going to be set to save the 5th test.[DOUBLEPOST=1388808709][/DOUBLEPOST]The first 5 batsmen deserved to be punched in the cock.

Cook is a great batsman but his captaincy is as inspiring as Chris Tavares batting

His batting is suffering and he's not bedding in and getting enough runs. These are his last 14 knocks at test level 27, 51, 72, o, 3, 1, 13, 65, 25, 34, 51, 22, 62, o. Average of 29. No denying that he is a good batsmen as he proved against India and NZ with some very good knocks so not sure if the Aussies have just got into his head but something needs to change with the lad.[DOUBLEPOST=1388812260][/DOUBLEPOST]

We wouldn't score 203.
