Can't we pick him for the final test? He can't do any worse than the tail, or some of the middle order, or some of the top order. And a few balls from Mitchell Johnson might actually kill him off. I would certainly take a 5-0 to see that.

But those deliveries were stupid and deliberate body-liners. Did you see how far they were to leg? Miles away - he might as well have just stood there and threw the ball at his ribs.

Typical Aussie, no sense of morality or reasonableness. A pro against an old man & complete amature, and even then he can't just show he's better - he has to try to hurt the bloke. ***** trick.

It came about because Morgan accused the English batsmen of not having the bottle for the short balls, Lee challenged him to prove he did so he was always going to bowl at Morgan rather than the stumps. Whilst I think Hadlee's going a bit over the top with his comments I can see his point. What does this exercise prove other than Morgan doesn't have the skill, reactions and experience of a test batsman?

Seems fair enough. It was a cheap stunt, try and injure a pom for the edutainment of the braying aussie peasantry. It does kind of emphasise what I have been suspecting though, Aussies have instructed Johnson to bowl bodyline and umpires have done a poor job curbing this.[DOUBLEPOST=1388316941][/DOUBLEPOST]

As much as people, not unreasonably, go on about a lack of alternatives for the captaincy, surely there is absolutely no way that Cook can continue after this? Dread to think what is going on behind the scenes.
