Was hoping that his performance against Chelsea would be the turning point, but he's right back to where he started. An absolutely dreadful player who looks to be no improvement on Danny f***ing Graham.
 
It's like a vicious cycle. Fletcher starts several games, looks shit. Jozy subs on for him, looks great and everyone calls for him to start. Puts in two or three motm performances starting then has two off games, everyone starts calling for fletcher...fletch comes on and lays an egg...

Don't see where I said Fletcher was better based on this game. The ball was thigh high, and if he was on the pitch longer he might have been alert enough to knock it in. Altidore is f***ing awful, and will never be anything but. Or should I call him 'Jozy'? f***ing hell man, do you really think he's a good player, and the sort of player that will score goals for us?

I think fletcher and altidore are good players. But neither will score loads of goals on this team. No creative midfielder. They'd both score at least ten if they played for one of 15 other teams in the prem, but tbf to them they're on one of 5 teams that have nowt for midfielders
 
I'm an altidore fan , but today was the final nail i think . out of his depth in this league . movement poor , hasn't got a footballing brain capable of performing at this level. blew a decent chance 1st half by trying to take a touch when should have shot. 2cnd half he just gave up and stopped making any runs.
needs to be peddled asap so we can get in a better player.

Apart from the fact that i've never really seen Jozy ever looking great playing for us. Has looked complete gash to me, even in matches people on here say he played great. Worst footballer at the club imo, on par with Gardner. Both don't look like footballers.
 
He's not a bad player but his confidence has gone. He needs a break, still think Wickham could do more of a job than the current set

Will be interesting to see Wickham given a run next year ... still not sure about him, but he's never had as many chances to perform as Fletcher and the other fella.

Had a very good game against Chelsea, that aside he has been dreadful.

I'm a supporter of Jozy, but I think it is fair to sit him on the bench now and give Fletcher a run. I think Poyet will do that. Maybe watching the game from the bench could help Jozy a bit. He needs to fight for his minutes from now on.

Glad you aren't trying to lick his arse after today, he definitely needs some time on the bench and he needs to go to training and work his bloody socks off to try and improve. He just isn't good enough for our league in is current state and ability.
 
Poyet cannot complain about the lack of goals when he continues to pick Altidore. I am more of a premier league striker than he is. .... utter utter rubbish imho.

Totally agree. I just don't get why people say he can hold the ball up. With the way everything just bounces off him, his hold up play is terrible. I've been slated for slating him but I just can't see any talent in him.
