Best catches ever

Don't know if there's been a thread along these lines before, but thought it worth starting anyway in light of this beauty by Trent Boult:

Which one?
well the quote marks around catch implied he didn't catch it. The bailey chance which led to bres running him out

I know what you meant with your post mind, the ones that get sent miles up under lights are very hard chances. But most chances where you have ages to think about it should be regulation considering how much they will practice them.

He dropped it, and I rest my case. Yes those reflex jobs are spectacular but you need more technique to take the skiers, especially out in the deep when they are travelling laterally as well as vertically.

I can remember Jonty Rhodes pulling off a few virtually impossible catches. Seem to recall he only got selected for his fielding ability at one time

And sure there was a one last your that was caught on the boundary, lobbed back in the air while he stepped over, and dived full length to get it before it hit the deck

To be fair Lee's catch is so spectacular (and brilliant) because he over-ran the ball. The one down the ground where the guy was running backwards was fantastic as were the last couple on the boundary edge.

This one is not bad.

Both used to take some crackers in the slips too.

There's also Stokes' diving catch in the deep during one of last summer's one day games.
